Days Like These

true friends can grow /separately/
without ever growing a p a r t.

This weekend I headed up to Rochester to visit this hipster named Allie who just so happens to be one of my best friends. It is a really nice feeling to know that even though Allie and I haven't seen each other in a year, as soon as we were together again, it was like we were never apart- we just kind of picked up where we left off. Lately I have been feeling a bit of an outsider, so talking with Allie, who shares a lot of the same views on life as I do, helped me to feel less alone. This weekend was a ton of fun; definitely a memorable one. We did so, so much in just two days, which helped me realize that everyday can be an adventure if I choose to make it that way!

Some highlights of the marathon weekend we had:
+ sampling shots of whiskey from a lady who doesn't know how to get to her job!
+ staying up late talking & laughing about every funny thing that happened during our time in Geneseo!
+ playing dress up & having a tea party!
+ the zoo!
+ banana and strawberry margaritas!
+ harassing our waiter at Mex!
+ starry night cafe!
+ tie dye cupcakes!
+ target, of course!
+ philosophical conversations about life, death, & everything in between!
+ a talking snowball!
+ Annie from Annie's Adult Shop & Macy from OkCupid Headquarters in Texas!
+ a lot of frozen chai... and when i say a lot, I mean a lot!
+ Mike & his glow stick necklaces!
+THE Gabester!
+ and basically a million and one other things!
